We were awarded via competitivlely tendering process the contract to land raise approxiamatly 50 acres of land in Northfleet Kent. The site previously had a heavy industrial use, the re-mediation of which was carried out prior to landraising commencing. We offered a single source material to complete the works, the delivery of which was completed via river access. This allowed the client to meet all planning permission requirements with regard to lorry movements and the bulk of the material needing to come from the river. The material was delivered and placed to a design specification to allow future residential and commercial development on the site

Being presented with a contaminated former fuel storage site would cause many developers to walk away despite the fact the site was located in an area with high demand for units and low supply.

We at Greentree approached the project with the view that by using our remediation innovation we could produce a sustainable, quality and affordable scheme that would both complement the surrounding area and provide excellent standards of living accommodation.

Through our strict quality control processes we were able to deliver the project on time and to the highest of environmental and sustainable standards, with properties ranging from two to three bedroom apartments with underground parking and additional communal external areas and children’s play area.
